The form asks for several matching facts because the service returns one voter's own information, not a list of Beltsville names.
Repair a Beltsville Lookup Miss
A no-match result does not settle whether someone is registered. Start with the exact registered version of the name. A shortened first name may fail where the full form succeeds. After a move, test the former residential ZIP. After a name change, test the earlier surname. Include the middle initial if it appeared on the registration, and check that the birth-date fields use the required numeric form.
Timing is the next check. Maryland says online and MVA registration submissions may take as long as three weeks to process. Special files go further for election administration. Mail-in products can show ballot address, type, status, and relevant dates. Early-voting files can add location, date, ballot style, and gender. Provisional products may carry school zone, status, reason, precinct voted, and ballot-issue data. Cure lists cover fields used to resolve ballot defects. Beltsville Voter Records Boundaries
Maryland Election Law draws the line. Section 3-101 establishes the statewide voter list and requires at least five years of current voting history. Section 3-505 opens locally held registration records for inspection while the election board is open, but the originals remain in the office unless a court order or temporary processing permits removal. List-maintenance program records must remain available for at least two years under the Maryland Public Information Act, with exceptions for a decision not to register and the identity of the registration agency used by a specific voter.
Section 3-506 limits copies of voter rolls to registered Maryland voters who submit a written application and swear that the data will serve an electoral-process purpose. - Select statewide data for $125, one county or Baltimore City for $75, or one district for $75 with its type and number.
- Choose the product and filters. Options include registered lists, walking, mail-in, provisional, early-voting, cure, and history files.
- Select FTP or email delivery. A flash drive adds $15 and may be picked up or mailed.
- Sign the oath, pay in full, and submit outside the closed election window. The form must arrive by the registration deadline 21 days before an election or after election day.

Data arrives as tab-separated text without delimiters, while a walking list is a PDF. The state does not create custom formats or provide technical support.

County payment options include exact cash, check, money order, card, e-check, and county expense distribution. A returned check costs $35. This price contrast can matter when a narrow Prince George's district is enough for the planned electoral use.
Request Beltsville Records by Precinct
Beltsville is an unincorporated census-designated place. It does not appear in the county request form's municipality selector. Requesters should identify the proper county district or precinct instead of looking for a fictional Beltsville city roll. The county form supports congressional, legislative, council, school, election-district, and precinct filters.
The 2026 polling-place list places Beltsville addresses in Election District 01, precincts 01-001 through 01-006. Their polling places are Calverton Elementary, Beltsville Community Center, High Point High, Martin Luther King Jr. Middle, Beltsville Academy, and Vansville Elementary. An address must still be checked through the official lookup because a Beltsville mailing label alone does not assign the precinct.
Note: A county precinct filter is the accurate local unit; Beltsville has no municipality-wide voter product of its own.
A Maryland Walking-List Quirk
Maryland's walking list has a layout built for street work. It sorts by precinct and street address, identifies occupants and parties, places even-numbered addresses on the left, and puts odd-numbered addresses on the right. That left-right arrangement is more than a visual oddity. It shows why choosing the correct Beltsville precinct matters before ordering. Yet an entry still proves only what the election file states. It does not establish current occupancy, property ownership, or how a person voted.

Ask both the county board and the Maryland State Archives Guide staff. Give the election year, Election District 01, the likely precinct, and any known Beltsville address. Modern retention rules do not prove that a historical volume survives.
Use Beltsville Voter Rolls Lawfully
The signed application is a legal promise. Election Law §3-506 makes knowing use unrelated to the electoral process a misdemeanor. The current application states a penalty of 30 days to six months in jail, a fine up to $250, or both. It also forbids transfer, sale, and distribution of the supplied data.
Maryland Criminal Law §§3-802, 3-803, and 3-805 may apply when any record data is used to stalk, harass, threaten, or repeatedly alarm a person. Keep only the voter records needed for the certified purpose, secure the file, and never try to recover a Safe at Home participant's hidden residence.
